GREENMILE

Festuca commutata

Chewings fescue

Disease tolerant, dark green - "par excellence" lawn type

High disease tolerance = better sustainability
GREENMILE is ranked number one for red thread, rust and leaf spot tolerance in French official trials!

Darker than most chewings red fescues
GREENMILE is ranked as one of the darkest chewings red fescue varieties. This can be a criteria for incorporation in some mixtures with darker varieties of other species.

A "lawn variety" par excellence
GREENMILE will perform very well in all kinds of "lawn uses" from the low cut UK lawns (10-12 mm) to the higher cut German and French lawns (2,5 - 3,5 cm).

Qualifying for all uses in the German RSM (2013) - Scale:  1-9, 9 is best:

  • 8 = score for adaptation to Lawn
  • 8 = score for adaptation to Greens
  • 8 = score for adaptation to Sport
  • 7 = score for adaptation to Extensive use
