GrassLopata

HERALD

Festuca rubra rubra

Strong creeping red fescue

Dense and fine-leaved with good persistency

High shoot density and very fine leaves
Strong creeping red fescue is not as dense as slender or chewings fescue. But Herald is a good compromise showing both high fineness and high density along with the rusticity of strong creepers.

Colour
Herald is darker than average and can be added to mixtures with recent darker green ryegrasses and smooth-stalked meadow-grasses for instance.

Herald defends itself against diseases
To further consolidate the rusticity Herald shows good broad disease tolerance.
