J Ultrafine Rye 25

Fast-establishing ultrafine ryegrass & fescue blend for cricket squares, outfields, nets and high-wear surfaces.

J Ultrafine Rye 25 is a refined fine-turf mixture that delivers outstanding performance across a wide range of cricket playing surfaces, including squares, outfields, net areas, run-ups and high-wear training zones. Combining ultrafine perennial ryegrasses with elite fescues, this mixture provides exceptional shoot density, surface hardness, traction, and season-long durability—all of which are essential for modern cricket. Designed for fast, reliable establishmen, even at lower temperatures early or late in the season. J Ultrafine Rye 25 offers the ideal balance between high wear tolerance and the fine turf presentation required for cricket surfaces.

Its improved heat and drought tolerance supports consistent performance during dry summer periods, while the fine-leaved nature of the cultivars ensures a smooth, even sward that enhances ball bounce, ball roll and playing quality across the square and outfield.
